So guess what? My oven is messed up. My mom refuses to use it so I've got to figure out if I can fix it or if the repair guy has to be called (thank above for extended warranties.)   In other news, IT'S A WEEK TIL HALLOWEEN!!!!!! \0/ I love Halloween. I just gotta buy candy and then I'm all set. Nothing much else of interest has happened. Except allergies. :(

Quick question y'all: Do you think Open CourseWare (free online) classes are worth it? I found a bunch of the from places like MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and other really cool schools, but a lot of them have no real way to check comprehension (i.e test  or assignments with answers.) What do you think?

The laptop is now online though I've had to do sooo many updates to it it is not even funny!

Anyway today the power went out on half of the town. lol. Well not really funny but yeah.

Hey LJ, what's up?

I've been really sick lately. Really sick. Like 'oh, crap, we need to go to a doctor' sick. I know I promised participation, but the sick kind of killed that. I'm getting better though, so that's a plus.

My cousin's husband is suppose to fix SammyTheLaptop tomorrow so wish us luck! *crosses everything*

Anyone have a good and reasonably priced anti-virus and firewall program? A recommendation would be well appreciated. :)

After everything tomorrow I'll try to post some fun spam, but I make no promises. Every time I promise, I never get around to doing it.

So I named my new laptop Sam. As I said in a previous post, I ended up having to restore settings on Sam. Now all the programs with exception to some HP things were still there. I had also lost all my music and documents. Somehow yesturday, I accidentally deleted my paint.net program. I tried to reinstall it and I keep getting a "1500 error.Another program is trying to install.Please finish installing and try again." type thing. I found out that it is my now defunct HP Photosmart 2.5 trying to reinstall itself. Whenever I let it install, it says the file place doesn't exist. I tried to uninstall it, but that does nothing. WHAT DO I DO????????????????

Somehow photosmart works without being there! I tried defraging tons of times and nothing helps! Should I just buy a new Windows and install that? If so, how? I suck at tech stuff and I think Sam might commit laptop-suicide if I screw with it too much. *sobs*


Please help a desperate girl. I will pay you in gratefulness and MS-paint icons.

On a fandom note: Before I started watching Bo, I was rewatching old Supernatural eps. To be more specific I was watching "Tall Tales." I got the idea for a vid about Sam from the ep with this song. *giggles*

Nothing has been going on lately. It's been raining on and off lately. Had to get a new A/C unit and have to get a new tv soon. Little One has an appointment Friday, then I'll probably go shopping with Mom this weekend. I'm going to try to make some icons later. Any requests?

I've been having to re-upload all my music selectively because a while back my computer had a "stroke" and I had to reload a save point. I swear Sam (my laptop) is trying to kill me with worry. :(

Anyways, Tuesday was alright. We got the test results back and the scans were clear! *does happy dance* Friday we had to take my uncle to the hospital for an infection (he's alright, thank goodness). Saturday was great and Little One had a blast! He kept running around and basically being all hyped on sugar. Sunday sucked because he woke up with a fever which he never gets unless he's really ill. So we called his doctor and he said for us to go and take him to the hospital. So we spent mother's day at the hospital, but it's okay because his fever went down and it wasn't flu ( the ran a test). The family left us cake though, so it was all good. Everything is better with cake. Well except diabetes. *was joking*
Monday was spent with a rather grouchy Little One and grocery shopping. Today so far I have found out I have a sinus infection and that it's my turn to Spring Clean the kitchen. I'm not a happy camper. :(

Tomorrow Little One has a CT/Bone Scan and we have to be up at the ass crack of dawn to get there on time. As anyone who lives with kids knows: Little kid+ Early morning - food= very long morning. It's just a maintenance thing but all the kids in the Pediatric Oncology waiting room are all tired and cranky(read: hungry), so one kid in a mood makes everyone in a mood. It really sucks for parents cause the kids are crying cause their hungry and they sometimes have to wait *hours* to get the test done. Yeah. It sucks all around. :(  

So I'm crossing my fingers that it comes out all clear. *crosses fingers* I probably won't be on for the rest of the week because after tomorrow I have to finish planning his party which is this weekend.


So yeah. I'll catch up hopefully by Monday and then spam the lot of ya with needless yet amusing things.

Many of those in the Supernatural fandom have heared the news that Kim Manners died on Sunday of Lung Cancer. My heart goes out to his friends and family . R.I.P Kim. You were an awesome director and will be missed.

Okay so Tuesday Hugo(My Laptop) went comatose. Let me start from the begining. Little one was throwing a tantrum. In this fit, he threw a small container at hugo while I was watching youtube. The compi froze, started, froze again, then shut itself down. Now ever time I restart it, the start up screen comes up. Then it goes to a screen that says "windows is loading files," then it goes to system recovery options.

Does anyone know what's wrong? I have zero monies and my warranty went dead last month. Mom says that she would rather buy a new one than pay to have this one fixed. Barring fixing it, anyone have a good rec for a new computer?

Okay, so I tried to register for classes (just got time to;was too busy with the kid to do it sooner)and they tell me I can't because I missing credit for a class I know I passed.
I even have proof. They're suppose to help me sort this out. I guess we'll see Monday.
